honest to god...do i over feed the beast or what?

That is one fat cat. Better slim him down before he keels over.

he swore he'd cut me if i stop feeding him...
and the way he chases birds...you'd think he was as light as a feather.

looks just like the cat that died of old age 4 yrs ago. my wife always called him pretty boy. i called him fat cat. he was huge. but man, he was a great cat. i was sad to see him go, you have to treasure all of them when you can...

That must be one TOUGH cat if he drinks water from the coolant tray of your bench grinder!

Seriously I don't think you can over-feed a cat. Dogs will usually eat until they can't hold their head up over a dish but cats rarely do.

My ex-wife had a cat that was probably the most well fed feline in town. Her brother and father used to run a charter boat in the summer and every day about 6pm the cat would wait patiently on the back porch. When their car pulled in the driveway he'd hop to the railing next to the back door. The instant the door opened he would flash through and jump up on the kitchen sink because that's where my brother-in-law would clean the fish. I don't think that cat EVER had cat food;it was fresh or frozen fish year round.

My mother-in-law would feed the squirrels around there(peanut butter toast!).They got bold enough that they would hang on the screen of the kitchen door and chatter away to be fed.
One day she was outside cleaning around in the garden next to the porch and noticed something underneath. She discovered about a half dozen squirrel tails under there! Apparently the cat's trophy room!

The cat wasn't fat but always walked kind of slowly around the yard. One day my brother-in-law and I were watching him walk slowly across the back yard and a blue jay dive bombing him as he went. The cat seemingly ignored the jay until he made too close a pass.The cat suddenly rolled on his back and grabbed the jay in mid-flight! Ate him right on the spot!

He also enjoyed finding rabbit warrens and dragging the little ones back to the house to play with after he'd broken a leg so they couldn't run too fast.He was basically a well fed sadistic and ruthless killer who lived to be nearly 19 years old. Used to come home a lot torn up pretty bad from fighting.Almost got done in by a raccoon but still came out in first place.Oh yes; I almost forgot: his name was TAFFY! Mostly orange and off white long hair.

reminds me of my mother in laws cat now this is a big cat she weights 60 pounds

big daddy, my aussie wieghs in at 60 lbs, that certainly tips the scale more than any house cat i ever saw.

here is the culprit who brought the fat cat to the house.
both the cats were starving and hurting for water....in the desert...i just had to feed and water them.
notice garfields stylishly clipped ear...it is probably a new fad amongst kitties.
