All About Pocket Knives

I have the opertunity to buy an used Old Timer 2OT. Handle has no cracks and snap is good and very little sharppening has been done. Just wanting to know how rare the old timer 2OT is and a range of value that one maybe worth??

This just sold on e-bay recently $335 !!!!!

WOW!! That's a pretty knife I may have to put that one on my list

$335 for that one? That is not a bad price.
I have seen them go for over $500, but usually they are in the box, unused.

To answer your question; There are usually a half dozen per year that show up on ebay, sometimes more, sometimes less. IIRC, it was last year a 2OT that I would consider a parts knife sold on ebay for about $135. Both blades were badly worn and as I recall one or both handles were cracked. That is the least amount I have seen one sell for, but it was not worth the price as far as I was concerned.

Occasionally a 2OT will sell for under $300, but not often. Mostly they sell from about $400-$500.

One sold last night on Ebay for $342.00 with a tipped blade and had been cleaned. The one BigMonk has posted was one I sold, and it had two cracks on the handle. I sold one in the box with a tipped blade and tarnish recently for $425.00. They are a highly sought pattern for an avid Schrade collector.
