Well, I can’t claim to be a new grandpa, but I do have a brand new grandson!
He was born this morning 2/7/12; 7 lbs 4 oz; and 20-1/2.”
This is grandson #12 for me and I have 4 granddaughters as well, between my wife & I.
We are pretty jazzed. It is my youngest son’s first and boy is he a proud papa!

Congratulations!! That is a fine looking boy. You're family get together must be huge with that many grand kids.

Yes, my 12th grandson and my 16th grandchild.

When we can all get together on my parents little farm on the Umpqua River, I have 5-6 young boys all gathered me, around wanting me to take them fishing. Of course I do. It is a total chaos and tons of fun whether they catch anything or not. I am worn out for a week after that, but it is totally worth it. It is something those boys will remember for the rest of their lives, and I think that is what grandpas are supposed to do.

dale, congrats on your, and i can't believe i'm typing this,,16th grandchild. i have 4,, one boy, 3 girls. thats enough for me.

and congrats to that grandson and all the rest of the small ones, for having such a great, and i mean that as in terrific, grandfather.

Well now I'm still a newbie at this grandpa bizz and you're obviously an old pro, but I'm still gonna tell you that's one fine looking boy in that picture. (like you didn't already know that) Congratulations gramps. Here's wishing that little fella a bright future.

We took this last weekend and traveled to visit my son and his family.
We got to see the new grandson at 9 days old.

IMO, (I will admit I am quite prejudiced), he is one of the handsomest baby boys I have ever seen, even if he was making a face at me in this picture.

Gee Dale...... Somehow I missed this post! Fine looking Grandson. He's got the knifers eye!
