All About Pocket Knives

I'm not a Remington collector nor do I collect smallish pen knives. Over this past weekend, my wife & I were doing a little shopping & she found this little Remington - she thought the red with black swirls handles were pretty so for $10 I bought it. I noticed later that evening it was a Remington R2075. I don't have that particular model/style listed in any of my limited reference materials. Sorry for the lousy picture - the tang stamp is a circle REMINGTON over UMC & the back of the tang is stamped R2075, 2 blade, 3 1/8" closed. After a good rub down & a light cleaning (paper towel & oil) - it's decent little pen knife with a little pitting & no handle cracks. It also has good walk & talk and no wobble in either blade. It doesn't look like a peanut to me, just some sort of small jack. thoughts ?

Nice knife, and a bargin at $10.00. That pattern usually dos'nt sell very high.

Nice knife, it appears to be authentic. Unusually for a Remington this knife doesn't have a shield, however, the knife appears in just this way in Stewart and Ritchie's book, they call it a sleeveboard jack.

They handled alot of the 2075's with yellow + white swirl pyremite, but I much prefer the red + black that your has.
