I have one of these in near mint condition without the box or paperwork. Can anyone give me a place where I can find the value. It is the stockman with 1975 as the date and serial number 10506

Is it possible the number is 106OT? Does it have a pair of scissors?

Is the Grand Dad's Old Timer a Barlow, a stockman pattern or a fixed blade?
I believe they made a Grand Dad's Old Timer Sharpfinger in 1975.

The Grand Dad's Old Timer II was a 3-blade stockman.

Value is probably around $30. It would be significantly more, perhaps $50, if you still had the box and paperwork. For whatever reason it seems these GDOTs aren't as sought after as the standard Old Timer knives, perhaps since they lack the Old Timer's signature brown handles.

Here are all four of the Grand Dad's Old Timer models:

the GDOT's are some of my personal favourites ,the black handles , shields and especially the "jimped" back springs make for a nice looking knife ::groove::
