Lottery Winner On Welfare

This is a perfect example of why we need welfare reform. This woman won a million dollars in the lottery (got just over half a million after taxes), yet she's still collecting welfare! She used part of her winnings to buy a second home and a car (paid cash for both), but claims she deserves welfare because she's unemployed and "struggling." Her exact words: "I feel that it's okay because I mean, I have no income and I have bills to pay. I have two houses."
I'm not saying that no one should get welfare (my grandparents were poor immigrants and used the system as it was intended so they could become successful enough in this country to not need welfare), but there needs to be much stricter guidelines for who can receive it.
