Bought a knife...figured I needed a fork...

James Behring Jr. & his father, Jim Behring of Treeman knife fame make some nice stuff. A while back I bought a knife from James Jr. and thought it would serve to do justice to a beautiful choice 2" thick porterhouse steak, so I figured I needed a fork to go with it. James Jr. said he had never made a fork before, but was up for anything, and he like to try it. After a few email exchanges, we came up with something to match his beautiful knife. The cocobolo wood is some of the nicest I've seen & he found another piece for the fork, the resulting project is beautiful, my pictures don't do it justice. He has since made at least one other knife/fork combo, with full stag handles. Some may consider this to be eccentric, my wife prefers the word - 'Nuts!!!'

wizrd - Welcome to AAPK. Glad to have you here.

Mr. Behring really did a super job. Both are beautiful. You're fortunate to have them.
