All About Pocket Knives

Here is a WWII military jack that had broken handles on it. The handles were jigged black composite that had shrunk, cracked and broken. It was probably made for the US Army, or perhaps the Navy.
I am not sure who made it, probably Imperial or maybe Pal Blade Co.

I completely dissembled the knife, cleaned it and put new mahogany colored jigged bone on it.

That bone has a nice rich color on it. Are those spun pins?

Yes Glenn, they are spun.

My camera quit talking to my PC, so I had to scan the knife.
The knife looks much better than the scans show.
It is really hard to get the richness of color in a pic, but especially hard to get it in a scan.

Yours is in much better shape, but that is essentially the same knife, however my knife did not have the Imperial tang stamp on the master blade.
