mini barlow

here is a cute mini barlow i faught with for 2 weeks to get it ready for spirit of steel 2011.
blades: alabama damascus
frame: 416 stainless
liner: sterling silver
handel: mother of pearl
inlays and dots on blades: 24k gold
turns out it was well worth the stress and fighting to get it done the night before the show.

.... and without CAD, CNC, or lasers.
did make a mini jewelers saw that i could use under a microscope with a 8/0 blade.
there were some brain picking phone calls to MUCH more experianced craftsmen both before and durring this project.
ive been plotting a few others IF i ever get the time again.

ive got another lil cutie on the bench (project i shouldnt be working on)
picked up a little pearl handel fruit knife, and am reproducing it with mamoth ivory handel...
just a little someting more to drool about for you Orvet.
