The only honest "Case" thing about this knife is the shield.

This POS is up to 112.50 with 5 days left to go!!!!! ::td::
HIs description said he had an estimate on the knife of $5000.00!!!! Has anyone else advised him that his knife is fake??? I would think by now someone would have tipped him off.

I did send him a message telling him it was a fake and that Case did not make a trapper in that period. We will see if he responds. I really dislike someone ripping a buyer with a fake. It encouages more counterfeiting in my opinion.

Dear olderdogs1,

Ok I am going to check into it, I got this knife from a local collector I have known for years and he guaranteed me it was authentic.

Dear lowery606,

This is not a real case tested trapper. Case never made a 6254 trapper until the tested era which began in 1920. It is a fake knife that has been restamped and had a Case shield put on the knife.
