Just rescued a Mighty Mite from a brand new source i stumbled upon (

) and am curious what year Schrade started switching over to stainless since these were made from '79 to '04.

Mines carbon steel and although rusty seems to be not beaten on too hard. Small crack in the scale by a pin but I'm guessing super glue and some polishing will get it back into rotation.

To my knowledge they were made in carbon steel to the very end.

I have not heard otherwise, but that may only mean I am uninformed.

I asked because i know the Sharpfingers changed over to stainless.
