152ot shorty

Here is a 152 old timer fix blade that had a broke tip .
This was my first attempt of reshaping a blade. I think it will work nicely at deer camp for those hard to reach places, plus it gives a old knife a new life!

Nice job Randy.Was the blade the older 152 or the newer hollow ground version before you started.I've never seen a broken blade on a 152 before.Arnold

This was a newer hallow ground sent to me by a good guy in new york, I was going to use the handles on some blanks I got from LT ,but the little knife was in real good condition and I did not have the heart to destroy it for the handles.
Dale I just followed your instruction and kept the blade cool ! Dale package inbound Monday!

Randy,
I prefer the profile you put on the knife over the factory blade profile.
But, I also have a preference for less 'upswept' blades, straight or even slightly 'down turned'.

Very nice! I like it even better than the stock blade profile, shorter ,less upswept and therefore handier imo

I think who ever used it and broke it was useing it as a bri-bar and not as a knife.
Now it can be used again as both and its stronger now too.
Nice to see she is back on the streets again good job fixing her.
I have the same felling as you thats to good to just use hear handles.
