For sale 2008 Moore Maker stag trapper.
Looks like these fellows:
http://catalog.mooremaker.com/viewProdu ... _id=705129
As per the website:
Length 4-1/8 inches closed
Zanzabar Deer Antler handles
Highly polished / brass lined / nickel bolsters
Limited edition.
Master and Spey blades 1095 HC Steel

Long story first: I took in a 2006 version on trade, and even traded it to a fellow aapk member, missing the fact it had a pin crack. I got the knife back from the trade, and sent it to moore maker, they replaced the knife, so I now have a new trapper, with no pin cracks. Queen made the knives for moore maker.

Asking $125, which is what I have in the original trade. That will get the knife shipped/insured to you.

hey tab. since they both look the same in stag and in lenght and both with spey/clip blades. what is the difference between the 6202 and 6202b models? i notice the prices are different though. the 6202b is listed as a less expensive model. they are both 1095 steel also.

what does that "b" stand for? must be something........maybe like gec's difference in their stag ::shrug::

here is their catalog with the pricing of all the moore maker knives...6202 and 6202b. i still dont know what the difference is.

mike latham over at cknet. he is also a member of aapk has both knives listed. he lists the 6202b as the economy workmans knife. must be their version of the edc model...

thx monk for picking up on that. although, it is amazing that would be a $77 difference in cost. and now i see that canal street is doing some knives for them. they have a suffix of the letter "s" i think ::hmm::
i only own one moore maker, the two blade jumbo trapper done in ox horn. came with a very nice sheath also.
that price of $125 for tabs knife is a bargain. quality knives to say the least. ::tu::

Thanks to all who helped with the mystery of the 'b' model. As for mine, I am glad folks think it a fair deal. I got a deal on it in trade and I believe in getting what you get out of something. So hopefully it will make someone else a good knife. Mine does have a Moore maker leather sheath to it as well. ::tu::
