A Very Stinky Day...No I Mean Really Stinky!!!

Well work started off normal today with a delivery that was taken care of by 7:30 am. I drove over to my office which is in a double wide mobile home and discovered that I had a smelly problem. During the night a Spotted Skunk (Civet Cat in our neck of the woods

) had burrowed into the A/C duct that runs along the ground in a raised mobile home and decided to have a party and pass along his wonderful aroma
After almost barfing upon opening the door

this wonderful smell would not go away..

. So I volunteered one of my employees (It's good to be the boss) and we found several holes in the duct. So we removed all the A/C duct pipe and I called the A/C repair man to reinstall new pipe and check out the unit.
While checking out the unit they found the culprit

and here are a few photos of the vile beast..
It's going to cost oh about $400 when it's all said and done...

He would make a fine looking hat!
I heard that
A couple of those could buy you a whole new unit! Throw in a couple pair of gator shoes & accessories and buy a new building!

Sunburst, I know a gent that has a few military gas masks.
At least you could move everything out.
Or maybe call Service Master

That vile beast did have a pretty nice coat

I agree Pepee Le Pewe would love to have this coat.. Well I tried to air out the office last night and the odor is nothing like yesterday it's only bad if you actualy breathe
I've got Febreeze, baking soda and a bunch of those plug in the wall deoderants..It's a slight improvement and expect it to get better everyday..I considered getting rid of the critter in a most permanet way but I must be getting soft, because the A/C guys manuevered it into a box and called me...I hauled it about a mile away and when it walked out of the box and looked at me (See Picture) I just decided to enjoy the moment..It was a unique looking animal and it seemed to have used up all it's odor causing ability's while visiting the office..
Never a dull moment..I blame Bryan of course his bad luck moved on me after ruining his dish and grill..
Ya'll take care,

On the bright side, you didn't get all the bad luck Wednesday........Camillus got most of it.
If you have something that was actually sprayed with the scent, it helps to wash it with tomato juice. I had to bathe a beagle we had in tomato juice because she had tangled with a skunk. It helped, at least as much as the $15 bottle of something that was guaranteed to remove the smell..........yeah right!
The tomato juice was cheaper and seemed to work better than the expensive stuff. It just looked like a scene from some horror movie to see me trying to wash an uncooperative beagle in a bathtub half full of tomato juice.
You let him go with in a mile of your office????
I am suprised he didn't beat you back to the office!

Hey, Alright! I wondered why my luck was getting better. Good to get that monkey off my back. Sorry it had to pass on to you sunburst. I'd say this skunk incedent should be grounds enough for the bad luck to move on to someone else

Just don't send it back my way please.

Bryan see I told you the sun would shine on you again.
Glad to hear your bad luck has been lifted.
Sunburst I do not think you did that. It was a nice after thought.
Hope you did not have to sell knives to pay the A/C men.
Knowing you I think you could have traded for their work.
And invited them to your Lizard Roast..
