All About Pocket Knives

G'day all,


I've been collecting Case 67 pattern knives for a little while now, but so far I haven't much luck at finding any knives or photo's of these knives 08267 or 09267, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to post a photo of these knives so I can at least know what they should look like "IF" I ever come across one

According to Steve Pfiffer's book (Collecting Case Knives) __(09267--Cracked Ice)___(8367 Genuine Pearl)*** I couldn't find a listing for the 08267 ?? maybe the various celluloid handles ?? ____ during the Case Tested years,and earlier,the #67 was made in both two & three blade variations in bone and various celluloid handle materials. Beginning with the Case XX tang stamp,the #67 pattern was made after WWII,with XX tang stamp,only as a pen knife,long pull master clip blade & pen blade operating on one backspring and pattern number 06267. During the Case XX era,the 06267 was produced in green bone,red bone,regular bone and rough black.___by the Case XX U.S.A. era,the long nail pull on the master clip blade,was eliminated and the main blade tooling was changed to a slightly modified clip blade shape with regular nail pull. The 06267 was dicontinued as of April 1,1967****____ those you are looking for,would be pre 1940's and very rare,I would assume ??__ sorry,I couldn't help finding photos, good luck,Monk

Since this is the only 67 model I own, I'm afraid this will be about all I'll be able to contribure to this thread, but here's my 8367 from the Tested Era. If memory serves, the 08367 has the Whittler blade configuration.

Got a Case Tested 09267 today, only one I’ve ever seen. A search didn’t find another one on AAPK but led me here to this old thread. So I’m going to post it here for posterity. It’s far from mint but not bad. Cracked ice imitation pearl handle covers are in great shape. Both blades are stamped which leads me to think it’s from the early Tested era.

Hope next time Tucool checks in he’ll see what he requested 8 years ago! BTW, I have found no record of a two-blade pearl (08267) ever existing.

Nice find Ken! Looks great. Cool looking secondary blade! Seems to have a smaller profile than my eye is used to seeing. Congrats on finding that little beauty!

Case Tested 06267, Case Bradford 62067 and Case Bradford B3067.

Thanks y’all. Wayne those are some great old 67’s. Thanks for showing them. I got my first 67 pattern, an XX 06267 (shown below) from Jim Parker back in the early 1970’s. At the time he said it was a fairly scarce pattern. Since then the 67 has become one of my favorites.

I’ve posted them elsewhere but for posterity I’ll put them here also. The 9367 and 09267 being celluloids, they don’t get to live with the others. I need to get them all together for a class reunion and group photo!

Great looking knives, guys. Reminds me of the -83 with a different blade configuration. What's the closed length of these?

3-1/4 inches. The slim clip blade shape is unique (they discontinued that blade after the XX era).

No doubt the reason I like them is, I’m a sucker for swell-center patterns. The 83 is the pattern that gave me this disease in the first place.

Scored an 8367 which just arrived today to take its place alongside the other 67s. This one is near mint, looks to have never been carried or re-sharpened.
