All About Pocket Knives

One of our knife types is being made with Ox horn handles. It's more colouful than Buffalo and is translucent so the colour lies in different layers in the handle. http://www.sheffield-gb.com The best examples look like works of art and the material because of difficulty in working it is just restricted to the pruners.

Wow! That should be in a museum someplace as an example of what the knife arts can be.

You can see through the handle at the different layers and because it's essentially hand made each knife varies considerably from the next.

What's the cost of one of those? I went to the web site but didn't see much in the way of prices. I also didn't explore too deeply.

They are £28 sterling plus £5 airmail recorded delivery to North American addresses. This particular material is only available in one knife type because of difficulties over supply and working with the material. Each knife is completely unique because of the variations in the colour ways.

$54 ?....I would like to see one opened.
Website shows others open ..but not this particular one.
