I saw this on epay today and looking at the etching I cant believe that Camillus would be that sloppy. It looks like US 44P on the guard?????
I am going to stay away from it. The grip doesnt look correct or it was theater'd.
here is the link if anyone would care to comment

I've never seen one like that...not a Camillus blade, the fuller looks like it was done with a die grinder and the guard must be hand stamped. The scabbard is the only thing that seems legit. A real POS in my opinion.

Thanks Welder, When I saw that the C was almost off the side crooked and then twice I wrote the guy and asked him what was on the other side as it looked like US 44 P He never answered me nor did he post any questions or replies. It was like "warning warning will robinson" (hope you were a Lost in Space fan).
Anyway someone bought it and wish them well. I have 3 USCG WWII approved Camillus that weren't and a 1964 Camillus US military folding knife that I am not so sure about. So I have all these red flags everywhere that say dont buy anything on Ebay anymore unless you are an expert and I am not.
Thinking about going back to restoring my CT70 Honda mini-trails in my garage and leaving knives to the experts. Back in 70 I used to live a mile from the Randall shop and I would go in there all the time and drool on the showcase BUT thats another long story as I used to talk to Bo all the time. When I was an Orange County deputy I got an alarm call at 2 am to his shop. He came out in his pajamas and robe and then took me back into the "back" room where he kept all of his good knives and one a kind knives. He walked me through and showed me his collection. What an honor to see that hidden area.. Yep it was a false alarm- but a nice one for me.
