All About Pocket Knives

My mailman was smiling again when I had to sign my name.
Then he gave me this package. Do any of you remember this knife??

It was the first knife that went out and traveled around before it stopped at the winner’s house. It was the first knife that I know of that was a two month give-a-way, back in September and October of 2006 by none other than our Superman Bryan

The knife is a Case Russlock that has been re-handled in mammoth ivory and scrimshawed by Colin Paterson.

It has 6 horses running on it (could be that’s why it moved around so much too) and landed at my stables. I will take well care of all 6 horses.

I want to take at this time to Thank you Bryan, Colin, and you too Matt for letting me share a piece of YOUR LIFE with me.

Hey S-K, or anybody else that might know...
I just KNEW there was a 4th knife to go with the 3 that S-K bought from me, that came from Alaska. I was down in the

"dungeon" today and found it.
About 4&1/4"long has great snap and crack-free stag handles. The name on it is WESTHILL. Never heard of it. On the back of the blade it is stamped, Made is Sheffield, England. I guess that would put it after 1890. Has anybody ever heard os this company? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Westhill knife, also marked “Made in Sheffield England”, it also has Stag grips. I think mine dates around the early 1900s. I am also struggling to find any info on the maker .

Being as the thread you posted in is 13 years old with no responses since, it will be interesting to see if anyone now has info about Westhill.
