Sorry to say another border patrol agent in Arizona is dead and another wounded. They went to investigate a tripped ground sensor and walked into an ambush.

So much i wanna rant about but instead i'm just gonna ask for prayers for the family please.

i used to live within a mile of where this border agent was ambushed...never had anyone shoot at me.

God bless the boarder patrol. It seems to be a loosing battle.

as a former private contractor for the CHP and BORDER PATROL i personally know many who are working our california and arizona southern border....

Now, they think the two Border Patrol agents shot each other after responding to a sensor device alert at a high traffic crossing area. They do not know if drug runners started the shooting or what.

Apparently, each one was shot with the other's weapon.

Surprised it hasn't happened before now.

in any sort of conflict that involves firearms, this will happen occassionally. and many times it isn't reported. i am amazed the fbi chose to inform the public of this unfortunate tragedy. there must have been some pressure on the agency to start stepping forward before any of it leaks out to the press..........heck, maybe it did start to leak out and they were forced to reveal what really happened.

whether you believe it is right or wrong, the public is usually spoon fed when it comes to the truth, but the truth in this instance is the right step to take.
i am so sorry for the family of that agent, the truth is harder for them now....

I'm quite sure they revealed the facts in order to shut up the governor of AZ. She was making great hay about the feds not securing her border.

And, of course the agents were AZ residents.
