Does anyone know who made these Kabar knives? Were they made from Bob Cargill's Cripple Creek tooling? Possibly made by Bob Cargill? ::shrug:: Nice looking knives who ever made them.

Aimus, I'm not sure who actually made that knife but Alcas Cutlery purchased the rights to the KA-BAR trademark in 1996. I do have a 1923 to 52 KA-BAR in a creme celluloid that Ibelieve to be the model Bob Cargill used make the Knife World dog leg KA-BAR.Unfortunately this knife, like a lot of old KA-BARs has no pattern #. The bone handled KA-BARS in my references for this pattern are 62134, measures 3 3/8 inch.Slim

Slim & Tim, 3 3/8 is the length size the seller said the knife I pictured was. I had the knife on my watch list and was going to bid on it but I had to go help my son and by the time I'd got back it had ended. It sold for around $29.00 I think. I would have paid more for it than that. I've seen an Ulster brand knife in this pattern and length before on Ebay but it was a much older knife. The Ulster went for way more than I could put into it at the time. You guys have some fine looking knives in this pattern. I love those older Cripple Creek knives, no matter what pattern they are in and it's a given that I like the Kabars.

Hi, there is someone who could tell me anything you want to know about any ka-bar he has most of the old paper work, he even has the art work for the clasp with a grizzly bear, but he's been very ill when he gets better I can ask him, I can't give out his name more than Joe, I don't think he wants to be disturbed right now, I suppose someone out there knows him he was in the front office for years, I don't want to email him right now, I just got a email from him telling me about his health. George God bless
