All About Pocket Knives

Antique Colonial's...VERY RARE!!
As you might imagine, spending so many years in the factory of Colonial Knife had allowed me to find broken old knives here and there, everywhere! My collection not only has many knives that were handed down from my dad Anthony and also grandpa Fred, it includes many items that Fred made and saved from Miller Bros. in Connecticut, and other company's before the brothers incorporated Colonial in 1926. One of my favorite types for saving were Mother of Pearl and Abalone Pearl. Here's just a portion of little toys that date from 1910 to the early 30's! Sometimes I look at them and still can't believe they are mine!

These are certainly rare indeed and thanks for showin them! Am I correct in saying that Colonial was one of the first to use MOP and Abalone in their knife handles? Beeeautiful collection, you are a fortunate man.

Some day maybe you could share the story of the Old Cutler line with us. I always had the feeling there was sort of an 'inside' story line. They were really quality knives.
