Look what I found layin' in the middle of the road

Not sure what kind of hunter would discard a rack like this. But, on my way up to the mailbox this afternoon, these were layin' in the middle of the road. I guess it could've been wounded and died later on. It was probably drug out of the woods by some critter. I think I see a few sets of knife handles in there somewhere!

Thats nice enough to mount - find a taxidermist near you that has African beetles and skull mount it on walnut.

Jerry, I carve mine out from Mamosa saplings. This one used to have a set of ivory fangs, until I had to use it to pin down a copperhead on the creek bank a few years ago. Never did get around to making him a new pair.
OH, if it were my kill, it would definetly be goin' on the wall! It is a nice 8 point!
As it is, it's just a found rack, better suited IMO to a few sets of knife handles. I'll harvest some of the brow fur for fly tyin' too. Hopefully i'll be able to drop this ones daddy, uncle or maybe big brother this year!
