Just got this from my folks, they were rummaging thru the attic and this popped out

Probably purchased 1955-60, I used to ride down the hill next to the house growin up.

Absolutely and totally cool. I hope if you rode it down the hill it was designed for that. I saw an old metal truck on Antiques Road Show that had been ridden and the appraiser just about had a heart attack. Said it wasn't designed to be ridden.

Not sure if they intended it for that but it worked nicely, it was built by the Moline pressed steel corp and was a buddyL toy

Cool! That's probably worth good money today.

Nice one! That particular body style(with the wraparound windshield)was introduced by GM in 1955 so your time line is pretty much on the mark.It appears to be in good original condition and other than giving it a gentle cleaning with some non-abrasive cleaner and maybe giving it a light coat of detail wax,I'd leave it alone.Make a nice thing to pass on to the children.

Thanks, fellas fer the feedback, don't think I want to make it pristine as that would detract from it IMHO. Who can say, all I know is it brought back some great memories when me and little bro were growing up
