man thats cool perry. in my younger days i played the fender precision bass. when i got married in '77 a lot of things went on the back burner including my addiction to fly fishing and music and also backpack camping. i hoped to pick it back up but never got around to it with family and work coming first.....now i just keep rehashing the song that joni mitchell did on blue, richard,, i seem to have fallen into that catagory.
man i haven't heard that song in 20 years.........
enjoy perry, wish i was there to boogie with you.

Hey thanks Mitch! I won't be near the South East any time soon as far as I know Cutty. Looks like all this will be in Vegas. Really long day today, I was stupid enough to take a 9am session this morning and then do a 7pm tonight after rehearsals. What an idiot I can be sometimes. At least I learned what not do to again. ::facepalm::

Uhhhh, I don't Murph. Bob had himself a new one built by Bouegous or however you spell it and it has a spuce top obviously but they sucked all the sap out of it, to dry it more and make it respond like one of those 50 year old Martins or Gibsons and man, is it sweeet!! Slope shoulder design, 12 frets to the body too with a slotted peghead with Waverly open back tuners. Brazilian Rosewood back and rims. ::dang:: It is one SICK Guitar!

Those slope shoulder, 12-fret dreads have a much warmer tone than the standard dreads. I played a Martin HD-28VS and was totally blown away. The price was right but just didn't have the extra cash at the time. That Booge-wha (sp :) ) is probably fantastic. ::tu::

Ok Murph, here it is. I had a few things wrong but you have to understand, I was Mezmorized!
Sorry my pics aren't that good, gonna try for better tomorrow.
The sides and back is made of Mahogony instead of Brazilian Rosewood, srry. ::dang:: There is some cool bearclawin in the top too. ::nod::
