All About Pocket Knives

I had to purchase a new computer a while back with Windows 7 operating system.

That was not compatible with my CanoScan D1250U2F flat plate scanner.

I've tried, unsuccessfully, to acquire an updated driver for the scanner.

I'm now looking for a new one.

I'm thinking about a Canon CanoScan 9000F.

Anyone here using that and if so, does it scan 3-D objects like knives?

Charlie,
I use an Epson & I know Charlie (upnorth) does as well.
They seem better for 3D objects due to their focal length.

I have an HP printer/scanner & it is good for paper but not 3D objects.
Epson is having a sale today 10% off. I have been thinking about their $79 one as the glass on my old one is scratched, but it is about 8 years old.

The V33 was the one I was looking at.
I thought about the photo scanners (the one I have is an old photo scanner) but I think the main difference is the ability to scan slides and negatives to positives for printing or posting.
The lower priced ones are all 4800 X 9600 dpi resolution. You have to move up to the $179 model before you get more dpi.
