WELCOME COLONIAL KNIFE COMPANY COLLECTOR'S!!!
Most of you know me but for folks who don't, I am the most honest and authentic Colonial Knife Company owner, cutler, and historian alive. Spending the better part of 40+ years in the factory, I am able to answer most question's you might have about our knives and our history that my grandfather Frederick (Fortunato) started almost 100 years ago.
Naturally he had help from his two brothers, Antonio and Domenick, but it was Fred who arrived in America first, in 1903, and paved the way for the company that they would all eventually own and incorporate known as "Colonial Knife Company, Inc".

Bob, any chance of a collaboration with the Dainel's Queen company? A simple knife, single blade hunter maybe? Quality fit and finish without a lot of expense. Saw a plastic handle one here on the store front that looked good. I think it had a solid blue color but there was a nice design with it. 60-75$ retail. Is this even possible?

Greetings friend..I'm not sure if I understand the question sir..by collaboration, do you mean some kind of joint effort in manufacturing these knives, selling and promoting them??
Please elaborate...If your looking for some kind of partnership involving production you might want to contact Steven, president of Colonial Knife Corporation; this is the Colonial Knife you see on line now. This company was formed years after the collapse and closing of the original CKCo...I personally have no dealings what so ever in that new Colonial (Chineese) Knife Corp. As far as I know, that new Colonial deals strictly with imported knives and tools and does no real manufacturing in this country. Although with the loop holes in the laws these days, if you import a knife and put a screw or some simple little addition to the knife, you can call it "MADE IN AMERICA"!!

Personally, my knife making days are over and I now deal with proffesional and accurate assesment's and pricing of old Colonial knives, and promote my cutler skills by selling a custom knife here and there. I sell books these days, not knives...
