All About Pocket Knives

picked this up and can anyone tell me more about the age range?

i've researched all my colonial material(not much) and the john morrell co. very old company with english roots. a lot of advertising but could not find records of knives.

i did'nt ask this the wrong way did i?

I have 2 of the same knife, stamping reads:
STAINLESS
Colonial
PROV.U.S.A

Of course different advertising. Mine were given to me in the 80's, and if I had to guess I would say they date from the 60's or 70's. They are fairly common, and I have seen quite a few of them, but not sure where to find a good solid reference for them. I did do a search on the companies advertised on mine, one company was a prduce provider still in business "Giambrocco Produce Co" and the other has something to do with sausage casings "Tee-Pak, INC."

Now you got me thinking, I should ask Jeff (AgTeacher2) if he has ever did cusotm work on a melon tester knife... some nice long custom scales... hhmm.

thanks adam, i knew someone knew more than me. suspected 60s-70s. john morrell was a merchant based in england, opened a branch in the usa in 1827. very old company and still in business. part of the fun with old ad knives is the research. thanks again. mmmmmmbacon!
