Far as I am concerned that Barlow has a lot of wow factor. Barlows are a favorite; I have a fair size collection of them. And your Barlow PigSticker would go right up to near the head of the line. Should you ever tire of it kindly PM me, and name your price.

Forgot about this post been busy doing other things--Yes Barlows are one of my favorite styles also QS I used to collect them hard and have given most away to my son's as I change my direction but I've still got a few stashed that they don't know about.
Where's that Bobby P. been?? I was looking forward to hearing his reply on this knife as far as who supplied parts and what not--

Finally, some of my personally incorporated Heritage Cutler knives are up for sale...
This is one of my nice white smooth bone Barlow's. I firmly believe that if the seller knew the entire history of this knife, he would have never sold it. After Heritage's first order of
5,000 Smith and Wesson, two blade hollow ground stag handled stainless steel Trapper's,
we went on to sell many knive's to folks like Stoddard's in Boston, Smoky Mountain, and many other buyers across the country. There are actually thousands of them out there, and I personally made every one of them.
If my ex-partner's weren't idiots, we'd still be in business....
I am understandably curious what you paid for it pal but regardless, it's going to be worth 4 times that when my book and story gets out to the country. The fact of the matter is, that nobody knowes who Robert Paolantonio is and have no idea that I represent a 100 year old knife making craft and a company just as old!!
They will after yestarday; my press release can be found on page 13 of the the January issue of Knife World Magazine, and in the January issue of the NCCA's monthly news letter!

Thanks for the reply Robert I suspected you came down with some kinda crud virus when you hadn't posted hopfully you're done with it--I'm really liking your knives I've also got a RAP Cutlery in a stockman pattern with brass bolsters and it also has smooth white bone scales I'm not sure but I think the Barlow is just a tad bit nicer than stockman but I've always been a big Barlow fan--I missed a Heritage stockman the night before I bought this I had every intention on owning them both--That'll teach me to drink beer all night in the garage.

If I may refer to Bobby's reply regarding the 5000 Smith & Wesson Stag handle trappers made of which one belongs to me, courtesy of Bobby!

Fill me in on the length,( 3 1/2 ??) scale material (ebony -horn ??? )blade material ( 1095 carbon ??? )ect.___all the seller said was Heritage Cutlers Inc.2 Blade HC-15,Mint_____seller photos below

Hey guys, thanks for all the great pics and praise!! Scott's Trapper is very rare becauseit was a prototype, and was made before the sheilds were finished being blanked. This is why the sheild is missing. Actually, it's worth money because of this fact, VERY few of these exact knives are non-existant!
Big Monk now owns another classic! Not many of these were made back the late 90's in this handle material. It's Chocolate Marblewood, and you are close enough to the 3 1/2"
length.....These were Camillus parts and it seemed strange to me that the master blade and spring were .080, 1075 Carbon steel..BUT, the pen blade and springs were .060, 1075
steel!! A bit thinner..I bet that your new Barlow has a good fit and finish and still walks and talks like a champ....CONGRATS!! Oh, buy the way, the HC-15 was our stock #..

Yes Chocolate Marblewood! And you are very correct! One of my ex-parter's made a contact down south with a pen and pencil company. We ended up getting many block of wood samples and decided that this particular one was handsome, and very rich looking.
It is delicate to work with but ends up with a beautiful finish!

Scott are there any other markings on that knife as far as being able to i.d. one in the future
