On January 19, 2013, there was a failed assassination attempt on Dogan at a party congress
He is the founder and leader оf the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), a liberal party that represents the interests of the Turkish minority in Bulgaria.

looks like he forgot to chamber a round to me, after a split second of confusion from the "click" he racks the slide with his left hand before being tackled and getting the sh** beat out of him.
