Nice knife. I dont know enough to tell, are the handles bone or delrin?

Thanks Sharalds! The handles are delrin. The research pages show this knife dates of manufacture from 1953 thru 1973, and the handles are lister as jigged bone, but these are definitely delrin. It's a nice little knife though, shows very little usage. ::tu:: Bull

Great old slim stockman. The bone handles went out of date around 57 or 58. The dropped the Walden from the stamp around 1973.

IIRC, the 825s were all stainless, and the 895s which preceded were not stainless.

That pic I show of the 825 above has stainless etched on to the shield and is not stamped on the tang as I have seen on other models. The stain on the blades comes from the Break Free lubricant and cleaner I worked into the joints. They were obviously pretty dry and dirty. ::tu:: Bull
