All About Pocket Knives

i met LT last weekend, he invited me over to home to see his collection.
i was amazed and i cant wait to go back again. he has more knowledge about schrade and other hudson valley knife makers than i could ever hope to learn in any book.

Ive made the trip a couple of times.. Dazed and amazed after each visit and the Crown wasnt bad either...

I took in visit to LT's last autumn, said I would come back and visit in the spring....Oh look it's spring time.....hopefully I will be able to go up in the not to distant future. definately worth a visit more than once

Thank you all please stop by. By the way Mr Ruger who is the son of a great friend of mine who has shot 49 out of 50 several times in sporting clays and plays a decent hand of poker. He Introduced me to Dave his son .

Dave has an interesting hobby falconry. He was explaining it to me and plans to stop over with his hawks. I cannot let the cats read this I do not want to upset them. In any event upon hearing of this form of hunting I suggested my going a long. That was until he advised me that sometimes you must run a mile to get the bird back sometimes through icy streams. er no I think I will pass I like icy water only as a chaser not to run through in a chase. Whenever I think of falconry I think pf the 1957 movie the vikings with Kirt Douglas, Tony Curtis, and Ernest Borgnine. I always feel I am kind of like the Ernest Borgnine character in my life ( HAIL RAGNAR ). KNIFE CONTENT He and Kirt Douglas died as Viking warriors with a sword in ther hand. I asked Dave about the reality of the scene of Tony Curtis ( ie Bernie Swartz real name ) . When he looses his hawk at Kirt Douglas and it rips out his eye. Daves answer was one of the reasons I like him unlike my long winded dissertations his answer was short and to the point. He said it was not real he said there really was not alot going on in a hawks mind. I just put in a case of whiskey so you guys let me know when you want to come over. If I know in advance I will pick up some whiskey for you as well. LT
