This Schrade Loveless sold for $670 and it looks like there were buyers willing to pay Top $$$$ for it.

Hi Grant, I was thinking of $500 or so. However, the Top bider would have been on top at the end - no matter what.
I think that buyer was the only one in the race; even with 46 bids.

I am not a big fan of the Loveless/Schrade collaborations, so I am not well versed in their tang stamps, but I have never seen one with the SCHRADE on one side and SCHRADE U.S.A. on the back tang.
Like I said, I am no expert on the pattern, but it don't look right.
My PH2 says SCHRADE+/PH2 U.S.A.
Even the letters don't look right to me, looks more like the ones I have seen on the knives made in china where it just has SCHRADE on the mark side.
What do you guys think? Have you seen others ones you know absolutely were made in the Schrade factory in Ellenville NY with that tang stamp?

Hi Dale, I have some of the Schrade RL2 knives; they were the first Schrade /Loveless knives.
That one looks like a RL2 with Schrade USA on one side, the extra Schrade was not on the production knives.
The first Pro Hunter knives had Schrade+ USA stamping only on one side.
The Line-up is 2 D'holders, an RL2 and some smaller PH2 knives.
The Blue Bone PH2 LTD was made about 2002.

Dale,
I am with you on this one.....it doesn't look right. I am not aware of any Scrim Shaw that Schrade did other than the hot stamping/inking that they called Scrim Shaw.
The tang stamping has me really concerned.....I have quite a few of the love-less knives and not one of them has that tang stamping like this knife.
But this is Schrade we are talking about.....LOL

Hey guys, I do believe that's a legit knife. It was a proof knife done by Shaw Leibowitz, possibly the only one since I don't think anything like it made it to production, or was even intended for production. That Schrade "stamp" on the pile side is actually engraved in there, done by the artist along with the blade engraving.
