My mom loves sharp knives and it was her birthday in November, so I fixed her up a nice little utility kitchen knife.
I bought some blanks at the OKCA winter mini show and thought that would be something she would like.
They just got back from AZ, so we will probably go see them next weekend.

I will find out how she likes it then.

Real nice Dale. Nice to see something different every now and then.

I am sure she will like it!

Thanks Glenn,
I may have to make another one for my wife, if she starts filleting fish professionally again.
She liked the way the curve of the handle fit her hand and transfered a lot of the pressure normally on the fingers back to the palm of the hand when making push cuts on large ling cod & black cod.

I noticed that it takes pressure off the thumb when making a draw ot slicing type cut.
It looks quite different, but I can see how the shape of it makes the handle do a lot of the work your fingers normally do.
