got a GERMAN H&R stag cheap....minty LESS SHIELD

so i IMPROVISED with what i had on hand

.223 shell case
cut end of brass shell with hack saw
file-around edge

fit-make sure it is gonna kinda POP in....

glue-gorilla glue was on bench,so i used that

tap in with hammer

WA-LAA fixed...ready for ma POCKET

I PUT THE LIVE ROUND IN THE VISE AND HIT THE PRIMER WITH A HAMMER 1ST

Like your shield idea. I have a little Case Pocket Hunter that lost it's shield. It would look nice with some brass.
