Remington Switchblade

I did some work on this one for a forum member. Good blades, but the handles were gassed and the main blade didn't lock open or closed. He sent the knife along with a set of replacement scales. Luckily I had a parts knife to rob some stuff off of.
This is how I got it:

I removed the handles and took a peek:

The other handle showed why the blade didn;t lock, the tag that kept tension on the spring was broken off becuase of corrosion.

This ppicture shows the origional with the replacement, you can see which parts are missing:

remove the 5 pins retaining the spring and stop bar:

Then all of a sudden the handles were on it (sorry, got too involved and didn't take any pictures between then and now). That is glare on the tip of the mainblade. My poor photography at it's best.
