Hello, I have a set of crock sticks. White and grey sticks. How do you use them? Long sweeps the length of the rods or draw the blade thru the V?
Thanks Bob

Sounds like great advice Elvis, thanks.Elvis wrote:I would suspect that the gray one is more coarse than the white one. Since I always used to (and sometimes still do) finish off a sharpening with a butcher's steel, I buy my ceramic sticks a bit longer than the ones in the video and with handles. I use them like a butcher's steel. Since they're only about $2.00 each, I let one load up and turn gray from the metal it collects and keep the other one clean by washing it with Comet or Ajax once in a while. The gray one becomes quite smooth. This can let you refine the edge to razor sharpness after some practice. That''s how I use them and plan to keep doing so. Hope this helps some.
