My Grandsons first knife

I made this one for my Grandson. He's only a year and a half old, but his dad can give it to him when he is older. The blade is only 2 3/4" long. The blade is damascus . The handle is mastodon ivory. Hidden tang with nickel silver guard and pommel. I sent the knife to Damen and had him carve the spiral flute on the handle.

What an awesome gift to give to your grandson! I'm sure as he gets older, he will come to appreciate what it represents.
Was it made from scratch?

Thank You everyone. Yes, it was made from scratch. Ive got about 60 hours in it. I would never make it as a custom maker. I'd go broke.
