All About Pocket Knives

Just snagged this off the bay, for $9 I couldn't resist the challenge. Made in Italy (or the blade is from Italy) all I know is that Edgeco made kit knives. This one looks nice, but as you can see, one side is missing the "radial" retainer and screw. I'll know more when it gets here, but just for now, anyone have any ideas on what I might be able to use - on both sides - to replace the missing part ?

I guess it would depend on the size of the hole you're dealing with, but I've got several different types of fasteners for situations like that. Most of them probably came from Jantz, but since you only need one I wouldn't mind sending it to you once we figure out what is needed.

What about those Corby fasteners Jantz sells ? They look like they would serve the purpose, and I can always fabricate the black discs from something around here. Once I get the little bugger here, I'll know more.

Blow up view. Looks like a corby fastener is the ticket, I just have to fashion another plastic washer. (don't know what else to call that thingy !) And a thumb stud, relatively easy.

I just thought of something, how about brass for the spacer ?

This would look great on any knife.
