Not much better than the epoxyed tape, but I did it!

A week ago I scored this Utica Sportsman & Sheath for $2.00.____and you can see the masking taped handle covered in resin or epoxy.
(I discovered it was more than just masking tape when I attempted to remove the broken plastic handle
)
For some strange reason I decided I would rehandle this on my own (probably cuz my knife guy is hoping for better days these days).
I'll let the pics show most of the work......It's not a beauty contest contestant, but she's sharp and I did it!
Side note....I have no power tools, I borrowed the Dremel from my brother in-law.

Way to go Scott. I think you got yourself a very functional knife now and I suspect this won't be your last remodeling job either. I see a dremel in your future.

There's no better feeling of satisfaction than to produce something with your own hands. I don't see anything wrong with that knife, good job!

Yeah......it's easy to fend off the bug when you have no power tools, limited tools, and even less moolah!
Won't see me posting remodels unless the only requirements are Elmers Glue and sandpaper!!
