All About Pocket Knives

As far back as I can remember I've always been on time....I guess it's something my father built into me.

I get red-hot mad when I'm penalized for being on time, because we have to wait for others

I signed in to a live chat with a knife manufacturer on aonther site tonight and was informed we had to wait for others who might have to walk the dog, get a drink, sign in, etc.

I thought.......................................why don't they take care of that crap at 8:45 so they can be on time for the 9:00 chat conversation. I got my ice cream early so I could be ON TIME!

I left at 9:05 because we were waiting for others, and I was being penalized for being on time.....

VENT....allegedly over.

One of my biggest pet peeves.

I would rather be an hour early than 5 minutes late...

Yet, you missed the chat that you evidently thought would be interesting enough that you signed up for it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm promptness personified. I understand the frustration. But, you caused yourself to pay the price for the discourteousness of others.

That's exactly the reason why I hated to ride with someone to work,
or have somebody ride with me.

Being late when others are waiting is extremely disrespectful. If someone places such a low value on my time.......they deserve none of it.

Funny thing was, a good portion of us were there, including the guest.....and the host made us wait (well, made THEM wait) to see if there were any late comers.......

Over the years I have served on several boards and in several civic organizations, taught Sunday School, etc. What I found was that if you wait for the tardy to arrive, they will continue to arrive behind schedule. If you go ahead and start without them and do so with consistency, it won't take long before they learn to show up on time.

Face it.....there are just some people who are just so consistently late for everything they will be late for their own funeral!

It is very disrespectful sorry you had to miss the chat and if its the forum I think it is,This isn't the first time......Its Way life works I guess the ones that work and do right their whole lives gets screwed ones that don't work cause they are lasty gets phones welfare and everything else free
