All About Pocket Knives

Well, I finally did it.
I took some smooth white bone slab, jigged them, dyed them and put them on an old Uncle Henry Cat's Paw, model #197UH.

I forgot to take a before pic, but the knife has a chip out of the end of the blade, the blade was heavily scratched and it had a terrible wobble to it.

I will save the bone jigging & dying process for another thread, as it is more than I can type tonight.

The thing I was most impressed with was that I was able to tighten a Swinden Key knife without drilling it out and pinning it. That too will have to wait for another time to explain.

I am still at the experimenting stage with both the jigging & the dying. I hope to come up with another jigging pattern or two. Also I am just scratching the surface of the dying process also. I will try and keep you posted and show more pics.

Has anyone else done any jigging or dying?
If so I would love to see your results.
