Worthy of a rescale job?

This is a John Primble over BELKNAP over hdw & mfg co. The back of the blade has 713. You can see the handles have diminished. The blade has a great snap. Better to rescale or not?

At the very least, I would consider removing the existing covers. They look as though they have shrunk, maybe not outgassed, but that movement would concern me.

Here's one I did sometime that back that is similar to your situation...

Given the condition of the covers on yours, I don't think a rehandle would hurt anything.

I think that knife is well worth the cost of replacing the handles. In fact I'd think it might even be worth more after the handles are replaced. It will for sure look a lot nicer.

I agree. Send it off to Glenn or myself for a rehandle. She's definitely worth it and the longer that celluloid stays on there, the better the chance of it doing more damage to the knife.
