Does anyone know? Is there a market for 1950's 100% Bristle paint brushes. For painting the house, not artist brushes.Just came across some, wood handles, leather bound, Names- Baker,Purdy, Maendler. Most are new old stock. As small as 4 inch upwards to 6 1/2 inches. Any interest and I will show a couple.

edit: I should have posted in general discussion as with these pure bristles you could after all cut a fine line.

I'd like to see them.I have a couple of old paint brush caddys that would look nice displayed with some brushes in them.Don't have a pic but they look like the old style file boxes with a pent roof top and inside there are bars going across with clips on them to hold the brushes vertically. One side is blocked off and you can fill it with mineral spirits;wash out your brush, and hang it on the other side.

Just returned home. Will post some pics in the A.M.

Changed my mind. Will be gone in the A.M. Here are a few. Someone really thought highly of these to keep them in this condition for near 65 years. Out of 11 one has seen a little use. The rest are NOS. They probably need to be in a museum or a collection.
