Just a new set of handles

I did one of these for one of my brothers a few years ago and he recently lost it and wanted a replacement. I know he's not the type to oil a knife on a regular basis, so I blued the blades to help with rust control, but he really liked the corn cob handles.

A little super glue was used to make the piece stable enough to cut, then I soaked it in a slow setting acrylic I picked-up at the local hobby shop.

Wow Bob!

That's taking natural scale materials to a new level.

Very cool!

Thanks folks! There's just something down-home and simple about looking at a corn cob that makes it easy to like I guess.

I like your tag line Pig Sticker! "NEVER DOUBT YOUR DAWG" is good advice. He works for just room and board and never complains. ::tu::

I just thought I should mention that the bolsters got a nice buffing before the knife went out to my Brother in Ft. Worth. I got a reputation to live up to, ya know? ::rotflol::
