My new EDC

While I like to collect old knives and I even carry them, some of my favorite EDCs are Kershaws made in the 1980s. The Officer Ranch series are some of my favorite Kershaw patterns, as long as they are the older ones made in Japan, (not those made in that other place further east of Japan).
Recently I rehabbed a Schrade Barlow with caramel colored bone that was jigged like Impala horn.
I liked it a lot & almost kept it for myself. I had one set left & decided I needed a new EDC.
I put the bone on a Kershaw #4150, the Wild Turkey. I thinned the bone at an angle so the handles are thicker at the rear. When I finished the knife went straight into my pocket. I love it! it has been my pocket every since then, except when I was using it, like this evening, I cut up a rib-eye steak for my dinner!
This is the results, I hope you enjoy the pics!
