"I do acknowledge that at times I have been less than precise with my words" Attorney General Alberto Gonzales'
There are a few things that give me a good chuckle in reference to our government. My new catch phrase until I find another is going to be
I do acknowledge that at times I have been less than precise with my words.
As the scales of lady justice tilt from one extreme to another I feel confident and secure that our leaders have the compass of morality..
Let me see now Mr. Sunburst did you just try to sell that man the Brooklyn bridge?? Ahh I do acknowledge that I have been less than precise with my words.
Little Johnnie didn't you just tell me that your homework and chores were done?? Ahh I do acknowledge that at times I have been less than precise with my words..
This is the IRS are we reading this correctly, you claimed every AAPK member as a member of your family and used them as deductions!!? Ahh I do acknowledge that at times I have been less than precise with my words..
Hey if the head of justice for the United States of America can do it, it must be right..

The AG should not have to answer questions about anything that is Constitutionally legal. Did Janet Reno(DEM) or former Prepetrator-sorry-President William Jefferson Clinton(DEM) have to be called to a special session of Congress to answer for firing 92(yes the total is correct) US attorneys? The "No, but this is different" arguement can not be used this time. Every time this Pesident and his administration use their Constitutionally granted power, the opposition loses it's grip on reality. I am not trying to be politically divisional, but there is an election being conducted in NOV. '08 and the Democratic party is acting as if they still have to defeat President George Walker Bush. He's never running for public office again, so move along and make sense of what ever else is the flavor of the month.

Kudoes to both of you for having the cajones to state what you believe.
That being said IMO Sunburst may have some apple trees among his oranges.

Hello Gents
I guess I was ranting a little ::blah:: the other day but it just hit my funny bone about Gonzales..The idea of a truthful politician is so far gone these days that the "Twilight Zone" would have a hard time selling an episode of one politican telling the truth and sticking to it..
I am conservative according to those who would catagorize such things but have found myself moving into exasperation when it comes to anything to do with government..Left or Right..
No offense taken here and not trying to cause any to others. Its just a little humorous when fact is stranger than fiction and the topic we are speaking of is the man who is in charge of American Justice and Legal Integrity....

Sunburst; You'll get no argument from me! However there's not much
we can do about it. It all has to do with "THE GOLDEN RULE" i.e. He who
has the Gold makes the rules
