All About Pocket Knives

Any of you fish from a kayak? I just got a Wilderness Systems Commander 140 with the angler package and I'm really pleased with it. Very stable and you can even stand up to fish. Just got it out for the first time yesterday and caught several pike in the Tawas River which flows into Lake Huron.

I have considered it as well, to use down in the flats for Redfish. Right now my riverhawk does the job, similar to a gheenoe.

That kayak looks really nice. Looks like a transom set up for a trolling motor as well?

Here's a 14' that glides right along. It's a sit on top. It's not at all tippy. I was convinced it wasn't before I bought it.
A young man could stand up in it, though I don't know why you would. I did a few years ago, just to see if I could. No more.
I've got a anchor on pullys that I can position either fore or aft.

My next one is going to be a sit on top

Mine has the same type of anchor system on pulley's. It's really stable and you can stand and fish if you want to. I had an old Sportspal canoe years ago that had a 42" beam that I could stand up in. I'll have to try it tomorrow when I get out again. I am really impressed with this kayak and the seat is very comfortable. This thing will glide quietly through anything and I especially like fishing open pockets of water way back in the lily pads. Found some great bass in those spots.

Mine is like sitting in a very comfortable lawn chair. Tight lines.
