drilling a straight hole from liner to covers

i saw some videos where guys made jigs and stuff to square up the liner so they could drill the covers. i was looking at my drill press today and saw that i can spin the table upside down. my bench is pretty level so i used a level on the bottom of the table. it worked good on the knife i did today.

i also use the drill press to press the spring down to insert the last pin.

Now that is a cleaver idea! ::tu::
As long as the halves don't spread apart that will work great! ::nod::

I can't wait to see your finished knife.

You do have to be careful pressing the pin in but so fr it works good.

The knife is posted in the customized forum.
