All About Pocket Knives

I got this knife a while back from Jim Lippencott, a Custom maker here in Kansas. 3 and 1/2" long. Cocabola scales with little brass screws holding them on. Kind of like the old Miller Brothers. Milled Brass liners. Engraved nickel silver bolsters. Sweet smaller knife to carry. Fits in the pocket nicely. Mark.

Mark I was told Jim had passed. Can you confirm this. I used to see him at the Chisolm Trail gun show when he would come by the table. A very nice person and craftman.

I called Jim tonight, and he was surprised of the rumor of his passing. And by the way, His last name is spelled "Lippincott". I could not find an edit button to correct my poor spelling.

Nice knife Mark. Jim is a very good maker. Here is one he made about 10 years back. much like yours
without the bolster work.
