Schrade Cut Co. Arched Stamp

This is supposed to be one of the earliest Schrades, 1904-1917. The guy wants big bucks for it, especially considering the condition. I don't have any like this, all my Cut Co.s are straight line. The only ones I have that are arched are G. Schrade's.

Any comments on this stamp?

I looked at it pretty carefully, to see if I could see a "G" in front of the Schrade. I also don't think any of the George Schrade's had "Cut Co." underneath. He doesn't show enough to see if it says Walden or B'Port.

It looks more like this one below, with the "Schrade" in a slightly bigger font than the "Cut Co."

That knife is as described. It is NOT George Schrade of Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is OUR beloved. A little stiff on the price.

I like how you said that. I've been collecting Schrades for some time, yet I've never seen one with this stamp except in pictures.

But I'm not quite ready to marry one.

 In this country you are allowed one wife and as many knives as you can support. Or maybe a few more.
